Stephen Elliott

The death of Stephen Elliott, 20, of Amherst, occurred suddenly at his home on Tuesday, July 13, 2010.  Stephen was the son of Thomas Elliott and Barbara Thornicroft.

A gentle soul, Stephen enjoyed snowboarding, fishing, biking, and had a keen interest in cars.  


Stephen will be sadly missed by his mother, Barbara Thornicroft; his father, Thomas Elliott (Charlene), and his big sister, Ashley Elliott, all of Amherst; maternal grandmother, Penelope Thornicroft, of London, ON; paternal grandmother, Ruth Elliott, of Charlottetown; as well as many aunts, uncles, cousins, and in particular his special cousin Adam Robski.

He was predeceased by his maternal grandfather, Harold Bruce Thornicroft of London, ON, and his paternal grandfather, Earl F. Elliott of Charlottetown.


Stephen's arrangements have been entrusted into the care and supervision of Furlong~Jones Funeral Home, 70 Church Street, Amherst (667-8777) from where visitation will be held 2-4 and 7-9 pm on Friday, July 16, 2010.  A funeral service for Stephen will be held at 11 am from the funeral home on Saturday, July 17, 2010.  Following the service, Stephen will be laid to rest in the Amherst Cemetery.
